Hello and welcome to the studio.
It is October in middle Tennessee and it feels like summer will never end. This might be a wonderful thing for all those heat lovers, but personally, I’m a four-seasons kind of gal—and this year’s summer is encroaching on my quota for crisp fall air and snowy winter days. Time to get a move on summer, you have over stayed your welcome! The garden is done and you should be too! ;)
On other fronts, I am trying my hand at blogging with this post and there will hopefully be more (at least once a month) on the horizon.
New products are coming soon, including leather tri-fold journal keepers.
Yes, I’m an artist, but truly, I’m a maker at heart. My joy comes from creating—whether I’m baking sourdough, sewing, gardening, painting, designing stationery or trying my hand at leather craft. Unfortunately, this also means spending countless hours watching tutorials, only to realize doing it myself isn't quite as easy as the experts make it look!
My husband always says "go easy on yourself" and "look how far you have come". Easy to say, not easy to remember when you are sitting in the middle of what feels like utter chaos. Especially when you are running a small business where you are the CEO, CFO, Head of Marketing, Creative Director, Printer, Assembler, Packer, Shipping Manager, and Janitor while also trying to be your best creative self. Not complaining, I am so very fortunate and grateful, I have the opportunity to be all of these things.
Well that is all for now. Thanks for coming on this journey with me and more than anything, thanks for cheering me on.
Until next time, I hope you choose to be inspired, grateful and happy.
